MYTAXHERO.IE AUTHORIZATION TERMS
By agreeing to the authorization terms below, I acknowledge that MyTaxHero.ie will input its own bank details on my Revenue record and receive any refunds due on my behalf to their bank account.
I explicitly give my permission to MyTaxHero.ie to submit any of my PAYE returns (or any of my returns and my spouse’s returns where we are jointly assessed for tax) for the tax years for which MyTaxHero.ie is acting as my agent, and I fully understand and agree with MyTaxHero.ie’s terms and conditions.
I authorize MyTaxHero.ie to append my signature to the Power of Attorney they will submit to the Irish Tax Authorities, the wording of which is contained below.
- Authorization to Act as Agent
I, the undersigned, declare to the Revenue Commissioners of Ireland, that I authorize MyTaxHero.ie TAIN 81280P with an address at No 5, 13 Glenryan Rd, Off Blarney Street, Cork City, Ireland to act as my agent in dealing with all aspects of the filing of my Irish income tax return, including the submission of refund or credit claims, allowances, or reliefs.
I confirm that all documentary evidence of entitlement to credits/reliefs claimed and taxable income sources will be held for a period of 6 years beginning at the end of the year of assessment to which the Return of Income and/or claim relates by myself. I confirm that this authorization will remain in force until Revenue is formally notified of its cessation by either myself or MyTaxHero.ie, or for a maximum of 4 years.
- Authorization for Agent to Receive Refunds on Behalf of Client
I authorize the transfer of any refund or repayment of PAYE/Income Levy/Universal Social Charge due to me by the Revenue Commissioners by electronic funds transfer to the following bank account, which is held by MyTaxHero.ie:

“I understand that any refund made by the Revenue Commissioners to my agent, MyTaxHero.ie, on my behalf is refunded in a similar manner as if it were being refunded directly to me. Once the refund is transferred into the bank account I’ve nominated, I have no further call upon the Revenue Commissioners regarding it. MyTaxHero.ie is acting as my agent and is solely responsible to me for any refund received on my behalf. I acknowledge that MyTaxHero.ie is an independent entity, and the Revenue Commissioners do not endorse them. Therefore, they cannot accept responsibility for any issues I may encounter in dealing with MyTaxHero.ie. I also understand and agree that MyTaxHero.ie will input its own bank account details on the Revenue record during this mandate and will remove them once the mandate ends. I confirm that I am aware of and agree to the fees charged by MyTaxHero.ie for their services, which will be deducted from any refunded amount by Revenue, with the balance paid to me.
Terms and Conditions of Authorization:
I understand that tax law provides for both civil penalties and criminal sanctions for failure to make a return, making a false return, facilitating a false return, or claiming tax credits, allowances, or reliefs that are not due. I confirm that I will provide the necessary documentation to MyTaxHero.ie to support any refund, credit claims, or claims for allowances and reliefs made to Revenue on my behalf. I also confirm that I will provide details of all my sources of income to MyTaxHero.ie.
I understand that the person selected in Section 1 is required to retain all documentation relating to any refund, credit, allowance, or relief claimed by the agent on my behalf for a period of 6 years beginning at the end of the year of assessment to which the Return of Income and/or claim relates. Taxhero.ie will be required to produce this documentation to Revenue upon request.
